Research direction

The issue names no files or tests. First inspect how the project currently gathers game metadata and categorizes or indexes games, then compare that flow with Steam's macosapplesilicon and macos64 values. Done means Steam metadata is used to categorize and index games, with missing values accounted for; the issue has had no comment for 477 days, so check whether the work is still wanted.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

enhancement

I'm not 100% sure if this corresponds with having native support for Apple silicon for games, but there is a metadata key on the Steam store for Apple silicon support.

It'd be neat if you could pull for the key for macosapplesilicon and index way more games rather than manually do it.

Though I see some games don't have it apparently, like Among Us, however factorio and Baldur's Gate have it.

While other games, presumably without native support, have the macos64 value
