Research direction

Read CONTRIBUTING.md’s “Adding a language” section, then inspect the en block in src/renderer/shared/i18n.js, config.js, and the settings language select. Copy the English block as fr, translate its values, and register French in both configuration and the select. Done means French is picked automatically on French Windows and a settings screenshot in French shows no overflowing text.

Description

enhancement good first issue

The UI ships in English, Turkish and German. Adding French is a self-contained first contribution, and thanks to #7 it is picked automatically on French Windows once it exists.

Steps: CONTRIBUTING.md → Adding a language. Copy the en block in src/renderer/shared/i18n.js as fr, translate the values, and register fr in config.js and the settings language select.

Please include a screenshot of the settings window in French in the PR so we can check for overflowing text.
