Research direction

The seek bar is a Jetpack Compose slider on the player playback screen, so start by searching the Kotlin sources for the playback screen and its slider or seek bar composable, and check how it handles layout direction. Reproduce by setting the app language to Arabic and opening the player, then compare the thumb position with the track. Done when the thumb follows the same direction as the track in RTL, and the Arabic and English screens look right on the attached screenshots.

Description

Description

When I change the language to Arabic and open the player screen the seek bar itself follows the RTL interface but the seek bar's dot doesn't. The dot will still use the LTR interface rules.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Go to the app Settings
  2. Enter appearance
  3. Choose Arabic language
  4. Open any song
  5. Open the player playback screen
Device Environment

App Version: v0.4.0-alpha.51
Music Source: Local
Deveice Model: Honor x7a
OS Version: Android 14
