Research direction

First check whether issue #423 is complete, since this ticket is on hold until then. Read the Trackers definition in state.h and inspect its use in sipnet.c, restart.c, and debug_log.c to identify fields that are no longer used. Update those files and verify that all tests pass.

Description

good first issue on hold

There are many fields in the Trackers struct (defined in state.h) that are leftovers from previous functionality that has been removed from SIPNET.

Task:

  • identify which fields are not actually in use
  • remove those fields in state.h and sipnet.c
  • update restart.c and debug_log.c for the new Trackers definition
  • verify that all tests still pass

Note: this ticket is on hold until #423 is complete.
