Research direction

Open README.md at the repository root and locate the installation section, which follows the current headline phrase. Insert the 2–3 suggested plain-language sentences before it, optionally followed by a "Who is this for?" line and three key benefits, keeping the existing R-specific wording intact. Done when the README opens with an intro a non-specialist can follow and the markdown renders cleanly.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

enhancement

The home page starts directly with "dyadic multilevel modeling with linear and generalized linear mixed-effects models". Readers who are new to dyadic analysis don't learn what dyadic data are, who the package is for, or which problem it solves.

Suggestion: Add 2–3 sentences before the installation section, e.g.:
"Couples, parent–child pairs, or patient–caregiver teams: when data come from two people who influence each other, their answers are not independent. dyadMLM helps you prepare such data and analyse them with multilevel models in R."
Optionally add a short "Who is this for?" line and three key benefits.
