Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue on Android during a long active route with course-up or Auto-follow, then inspect chart-query and tide/current symbol selection entry points. The report names no files or tests, so trace how selection changes over time and compare with desktop behavior. Done means tide/current symbols remain selectable after several hours of navigation, with a regression test or reproducible verification.

Description

bug

Describe the bug
I navigate with the tablet connected by wifi to GPS and AIS through a ShipModule 3WI
A route is active, generally course up is set and often Auto-follow.
After a while - one, two, three four hours, I don't know - but what I am sure is it happens systematically.
I the tide or current symbol's selection area has no other object; I get the chart query dialog.
it as if the tide and current symbol are no longer selectable
