Research direction

Reproduce the Windows 11 steps using WaypointsShowName=1 in opencpn.ini, then inspect the route context-menu handling for “Show Waypoint Names” and the startup loading of that setting. Confirm that names remain visible after restarting OpenCPN and that the existing hide action still works.

Description

enhancement

Describe the bug
"WaypointsShowName=1" listed in opencpn.ini
Right-Click on route and select "Show Waypoint Names". Names are shown.
Close OpenCPN
Restart OpenCPN
Waypoint Names are not shown.

Expected behaviour is that the waypoint names are shown as requested in opencpn.ini.

To Reproduce
See above

Expected behavior
"WaypointsShowName=1" should mean that the names are shown when OpenCPN is restarted. The Right-Click on route can then be used to "Hide Waypoint Names" if required.
