Research direction

Read the four-step Plan in the issue as the checklist: start with specs/004 (add the requirement) and the .specify/DESIGN_SYSTEM.md §6.3 reputation-read rule, since both define the format the code must follow. Then locate where identity state and forget_identity_state (#533) live to add get_my_reputation() with its identity-and-node cache seeded from the pending Kind 38383 order rating tag, and finally wire the "Your reputation" card above the privacy card on the Account screen with its three states (reviews, empty, full privacy). Done means the card renders all three cases without a public key, and the cache is wiped by forget_identity_state; the daemon user-info action (MostroP2P/mostro#1054) is not yet available, so seed-only behavior must work.

Description

Problem

The app never shows users their own reputation. It shows a counterpart's (order book card, take order, chat panel) but not yours, and nothing in the app computes or stores it. v1 does not show it either.

Source

Today: the only source is the rating tag of the user's own pending Kind 38383 orders (is_mine), which exists only in reputation mode and only while such an order is in the book.

Proposed: a new daemon action, user-info:

  • protocol: MostroP2P/protocol#81
  • core: MostroP2P/mostro-core#186
  • daemon: MostroP2P/mostro#1054

Plan

  1. Spec first: add a requirement to specs/004 (none asks for it today).
  2. Guide first: a rule in .specify/DESIGN_SYSTEM.md §6.3 for how any reputation reads, the same for a counterpart and for the user (★ 4,8 · 23 trades · since Nov 2023), with since formatted for the locale.
  3. Rust: get_my_reputation() sends user-info with the identity proof and caches the answer per identity and node.
    • The cache is identity-scoped, wiped by forget_identity_state (#533).
    • Until the daemon ships the action, it is seeded from the user's own pending-order rating tag, with the date it was read.
  4. Account screen: a "Your reputation" card above the privacy card.
    • Reputation mode, with reviews: stars, rating, trades, since, and which node.
    • No reviews yet: an empty state saying it starts with the first rated trade.
    • Full privacy: "No reputation is kept in full privacy mode", pointing at the mode selector on the same screen. user-info is not sent in this mode.
    • No public key on screen: FR-009 forbids it.
