Research direction

Start with Device.cs:113-114 and read dependency #254 and roadmap #100 for the Android platform setup. Determine how the project packages native libraries per ABI in Development builds and routes Vulkan debug-messenger output to logcat. Done means a deliberate misuse appears in logcat and Release APKs contain no validation layer.

Description

c:graphics c:platform p:medium size:S t:feature

Current State

enableValidationLayers is a readonly constant (Device.cs:113-114), and Android needs the layer shipped inside the APK.

Tasks

  • Turn the constant into a setting (desktop part can merge on its own)
  • Package libVkLayer_khronos_validation.so per ABI only in Development builds
  • Route debug-messenger output to logcat

Acceptance Criteria

  • A deliberate misuse shows a validation message in logcat
  • Release APKs contain no layer
