Research direction

Start with UiManager.cs:320-357 and trace how UI examples resolve component types through Type.GetType, loaded assemblies, and the type registry or manifest. Remove the Assembly.LoadFrom scan, add a test for type resolution, and confirm UI examples still resolve their component types with no Assembly.LoadFrom in runtime code.

Description

c:engine c:ui good first issue p:medium size:S t:refactor

Current State

UiManager.cs:320-357 resolves component types with Type.GetType, then scans loaded assemblies, then Assembly.LoadFroms every *.dll in AppContext.BaseDirectory. Android packs assemblies into an assembly store, so the scan finds nothing; it also blocks trimming and AOT.

Tasks

  • Resolve types from loaded assemblies and the type registry/manifest
  • Remove the LoadFrom scan
  • Add a test

Acceptance Criteria

  • UI examples still resolve their component types
  • No Assembly.LoadFrom in runtime code
