Research direction

Start by locating the Settings > Theme view and its opacity slider, then compare its update path with the other theme controls that apply changes instantly. Reproduce the issue by moving the slider and checking the live preview; done means the preview and UI update as the slider moves and a label identifies the control as “Transparency” or “Opacity”.

Description

bug

What happened?

In the Settings > Theme section, adjustments made using the opacity/opaque slider do not apply instantly, and the live preview is not working.

(Note: Other theme settings apply changes instantly as expected; the opacity slider is currently the only exception where this fails.)

What did you expect?

  • The theme preview should update in real-time as the opacity slider is moved.
  • Changes made via the opacity slider should apply instantly, consistent with other theme settings.
  • UI Request: Add a text label above the slider (e.g., "Transparency" or "Opacity") to clearly indicate what the control (slider) modifies.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the application and navigate to Settings > Theme.
  2. Change other theme settings (observe that they apply instantly).
  3. Attempt to adjust the opacity slider and observe that neither the preview nor the UI updates in real-time.
