Research direction

The bug is in examples/debugger.eigs. Start by finding where the variable table column headers, the toolbar button text, and the Avg Entropy chart axis are defined in that file, then run the debugger to see the truncated headers and the 'Stop .' label. Done when the headers fit or end in an ellipsis, the button reads correctly, and the chart's y-axis tick '1' no longer overlaps the axis title.

Description

area:gfx bug

examples/debugger.eigs ("EigenScript Debugger"): the variable table headers show "Whe" and "Entrop", cut off with no ellipsis. The toolbar button reads "Stop ." The Avg Entropy chart's y-axis "1" overlaps the axis title. Seen on the live display 2026-10-08.

Done when

  • Headers fit or end in an ellipsis, and the column widths fit the header text.
  • The button label is correct.
  • Chart tick labels do not overlap the axis title.
