Research direction

The payload names no source files, so start by reproducing the report: on Linux/Wayland with the wip/test-912 build, add Fe from the periodic table, add a cyclopentadienyl ring from the Structure Library, bond them with a Metal bond, then press Ctrl+S. Next, check whether Ctrl+S works without the bond step and whether focus in the Structure Library pane or a picker is what blocks it, and compare with the related reports #267 and #324. Done means Ctrl+S saves after this sequence and a regression check covers it.

Description

Found 2026-10-15 (Linux, Wayland, wip/test-912 build): Fe was added from the periodic table, then a cyclopentadienyl ring from the Structure Library, attached with a Metal bond (which worked). Ctrl+S then did not save. Not yet known whether Ctrl+S fails in general in this build or only after this sequence (focus left in the Structure Library pane or a picker). Related: #267 (Ctrl keys), #324.
