Research direction

Start with the linked Android developer documentation on notification bubbles, then inspect Fossify Messages' existing notification implementation; the issue names no files or tests. Done means users can open a message conversation in a bubble and use it while staying in another app.

Feature description

I would like to see notification bubbles implemented in Fossify Messages, if they aren't already.

Why do you want this feature?

I accidentally discovered this feature recently when using Molly (fork of Signal), and realised it could help with multi-tasking, as users do not need to switch away from an app they're currently using to text someone back.

Additional information

Android developer documentation: https://developer.android.com/develop/ui/compose/notifications/bubbles

Usage guide (SEO article): https://www.slashgear.com/1766041/chat-bubble-how-use-android-enable-feature/

I may try to implement this feature myself, if I have time and can figure out the code base (I haven't even looked into how much work would be needed to add this feature to this app).
