Research direction

The issue names no files or entry points. Start by reading how the existing video and photo acquisition modes are implemented in the Kotlin Android codebase, then decide how a panorama mode would capture frames and stitch them. This needs a design decision before any code, so ask the maintainers which approach they want. Done means an agreed design and a plan for the mode, not a patch.

Feature description

Currently only video and photo are available as acquisition modes.
We could add "more" with panorama (among other modes, like macro...)

Why do you want this feature?

To do panorama 😁
