Research direction

The partners list is on a documentation page of the EESSI docs site, but the issue does not name the file. Find the page that lists partners and check whether SURF sits after the universities. Read the five comments first to see whether the current order was intentional, since the issue asks that question itself. Done means the list is sorted alphabetically, or the maintainers have confirmed the current order should stay.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

The list of partners is currently not sorted alphabetically (SURF comes after the universities), this should probably be changed (unless this was done on purpose?).
