  1. Configure a custom provider in ~/.commandcode/providers.json.
  2. Use an environment-variable reference for the key; do not include the real key.
  3. Start Command Code CLI.
  4. Open the CLI model picker and verify that the custom provider models are listed.
  5. Select one of the custom models and confirm that a request succeeds.
  6. Quit Command Code Desktop completely.
  7. Reopen Command Code Desktop.
  8. Open the Desktop model picker.
  9. Observe that the custom provider and its models are not listed.
  10. The built-in Command Code models remain visible.
