Research direction

Start at the “You are not a member” page and compare its behavior with the restricted manuscript access flow. Trace how Group Leader settings and project membership requests are handled; done means the request option can be enabled or disabled and the page provides the specified alternative access links when appropriate.

Description

The "You are not a member" page should allow for a request to the Group Leaders to join, as when accessing a restricted manuscript. A Group Leader should be able to turn this option on and off, so they can be stealth, if they like. It can also have a link to the Manifest in a reader or provide other options.
