Research direction

The issue does not identify a file, test, or entry point; begin by locating the code that filters gene slices against the Nissl Volume shape. Clarify the intended treatment of out-of-shape section numbers before changing behavior, then add coverage showing that such slices are handled according to the agreed rule.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

If gene slices downloaded on Allen Brain website have a section number outside of the Nissl Volume shape, currently we are simply ignoring them. We should maybe consider doing something about it (maybe changing the section number ?)
