Research direction

Start by reproducing the four steps in the issue, then trace the queue and rematch handling in the matchmaking bot. Done means requeueing and rematching the same opponent cannot leave players queued or allow two active matches at once.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

Re matching a previous opponent does not remove players from queue. This can lead to them finding another match while the rematch is in progress.

Steps to reproduce.

  1. queue and play a game
  2. requeue
  3. Then rematch the first game
  4. Wait

Once a queued match is found there will be two active matches at once.
