Research direction

Open .gemini/skills/behavioral-evals/SKILL.md and inspect the links at lines 13 and 46. Replace both local file:// URLs with the repo-relative link to ../../../evals/README.md, then verify the links resolve to evals/README.md at the repository root.

Description

area/documentation status/need-triage
What happened?

.gemini/skills/behavioral-evals/SKILL.md (lines 13 and 46) contains:

[evals/README.md](file:///Users/abhipatel/code/gemini-cli/docs/evals/README.md)

The file:///Users/abhipatel/... URL resolves only on the original contributor's
machine. The referenced path docs/evals/README.md does not exist in the repo
(docs/evals/ does not exist at all).

What did you expect to happen?

A repo-relative link to evals/README.md at the repo root — the file the skill
itself describes as the single source of truth for evaluations (it contains the
"Running Evaluations" and "Best Practices" sections the skill points to).

Anything else we need to know?
  • Introduced in #23349 (the PR that added this skill); the file:// URL with a
personal machine path was presumably a local editing artifact.
  • Happy to open a small PR replacing both occurrences with the relative
    ../../../evals/README.md once this is triaged.
