The issue asks for HotswapAgent integration in the Zed Java extension (zed-extensions/java, a Rust project), and the author has not settled the mechanism. Start by reading the linked HotSwapHelper project to see how it connects an IDE to the agent, then decide whether Zed's language server (jdtls) or the extension should trigger class reloads on recompilation. Done means a written design agreed with maintainers, since no files or tests are named yet.

描述
It would be great if hotswap agent would somehow work in Zed / Java. Installing the agent and setting up the runtime jdk with the appropriate options can be done outside, but is not enough. E.g. https://github.com/gejun123456/HotSwapHelper as an example how to connect an ide to hotswap.
My guess is that on recompilation, the ide (or jdtls?) should be notified to reload the changed classes at which moment the agent kicks in and does the necessary magic.
