Target Use Case
We are forced to reply upon Leaflet to load a COG onto Google Maps. Leaflet have built a plugin known as georaster-layer-for-leaflet which makes loading & styling a COG very easy.
Proposal
https://www.cogeo.org/ has all the basic information about Cloud Optimized GeoTiff. We have tried using CoGeo library with a webp comression type, but that's very slow & doesn't allow dynamic styling of the tiles.
