Start by reading how bd_lvm_lvinfo collects LV data, then check whether LVM's reporting can supply thin_id the way lvs -o thin_id does. Done means a caller can read a thin volume's thin_id through the public API. The issue has no answer or decision from maintainers, so confirm the approach in the thread before writing code.

描述
Sorry, did not know how to reach you all.
I wanted to find the thin_id of a thin volume given its volume group and lv_name.
Using the cli it is as simple as lvs -o thin_id "vg"/"lv"
How to find it using libblockdev apis?
Calling bd_lvm_lvinfo does give out BDLVMLVdata.
But "BDLVMLVdata" does not have the thin_id info.
