Start with how InputSourcePro currently decides when to switch input sources (active-app observation in the Swift sources) and the comment thread plus the two screenshots in the issue for the intended behavior. The hard part is detecting which region inside one app was clicked, so investigate which macOS APIs (event taps, accessibility, window geometry) the project already uses. Done looks like clicking two different areas of one app provably switches to two different input sources, verified manually since there is no test named in the issue.
