Help us finish the Standard.rb migration, one file per PR 🎉
.standard_todo.yml lists ~100 files that are allowed to break our Ruby style rules for now. Recent PRs like #7235 and #7237 each cleaned up one file. This is a great first contribution: it's small, it has a clear "done", and CI tells you when you're right.
How to pick one up
- Comment below with the file you're taking, so no one else takes the same one
- Remove that file's entry from
.standard_todo.yml - Run
bundle exec standardrb --fix path/to/file.rb, then fix any remaining offenses by hand - Run that file's spec (e.g.
bundle exec rspec spec/models/judge_spec.rb) - Open a PR titled
Make <file> Standard-compliant (#<this issue>)
Tips
- Keep it to one file (or one file plus its spec) per PR so review is fast
- If an autofix changes behaviour (e.g.
Time.now→Time.current,update_attribute→update), say so in the PR - Models and specs under
spec/are usually easiest;app/models/casa_case.rbandapp/models/user.rbare big, so save those for later
