When an implementation does not match a private abbreviation in its interface, the error message prints the interface declaration without private.

Type declarations do not match: type t = b is not included in type t = a
Expected: ... is not included in type t = private a. As printed, the interface looks like a public alias, which hides why t cannot be coerced from a, the very property the declaration states.
