Start by opening the linked kitdiff view for egui pull request 7608 and reproduce the case where only a new snapshot exists. Trace how the visual diff is selected and identify the existing snapshot states represented by the viewer. Done means the new-only display is clearer and the UI indicates whether a snapshot was updated, added, or removed.
