Problem
"WorkspaceContext.build()" only loads "AGENTS.md" from the repository root and the requested working directory.
Coding-agent repositories commonly use hierarchical instruction files where more specific directories contain additional rules for the code below them.
For example:
repo/
├── AGENTS.md
├── src/
│ ├── AGENTS.md
│ └── feature.py
When the agent edits "src/feature.py", the instructions in "src/AGENTS.md" are currently not included in the workspace context.
Expected behavior
Discover applicable "AGENTS.md" files along the path from the repository root to the active workspace/file location and include them according to their directory scope.
More-specific instructions should be distinguishable from repository-wide instructions.
Acceptance criteria
- Root-level "AGENTS.md" continues to work.
- Nested "AGENTS.md" files are discovered.
- Instructions are associated with their directory scope.
- The implementation avoids recursively scanning the entire repository.
- Tests cover root-only and nested instruction files.
