[Bug]: TestSearch.test_chars_valid test failure

Start by running the reproduction commands in a clean environment and inspect tests/unit/templating/test_templating_util.py, especially TestSearch.test_chars_valid. Compare the failing parameterized case with the passing cases and verify the complete pytest suite succeeds with the expected named result.
