Strange characters in the output when upgrading pkgx from 1.2.2 to 2.7.0

Reproduce the install script and pkgx pkgx^1 deintegrate under WSL 2 / Ubuntu 20.04.6, then compare their terminal output with pkgx node --version, which does not show the problem. Done means the commands complete without garbled characters or escape sequences while installation remains successful.

The environement is WSL 2 / Ubuntu 20.04.6

Today my old version (1.2.2) pkgx doesn't work anymore, always with the error (I didn't save all the error message, but only this one):
no such table: provides.

And I try to upgrade it to the latest version (2.7.0).

I ran the command
curl https://pkgx.sh | sh and I got many strange caracters that I don't know what happened. Something like this:

And the 2.7.0 version is well installed. When I run the install script again, it's
