The issue names no file, test or entry point, so there is no code location to start from. Read the existing edit features in the Android Kotlin app and decide with maintainers what signing should mean: certificate source, signature format, and where it appears in the document. Done would mean an agreed design, then a first signing path that is verified against a sample document.

Hi!
I've just discovered this app and see that it has some minimal edit features. I believe a feature that would be great to allow digital signature, for example by means of digital certificate. (https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/text/shared/01/digitalsignatures.html)
