The node-test-commit-arm-debug jobs run on labels of ubuntu2404_debug-arm64. There are two matching nodes, and they are both on the same physical docker host (the one in the title of this issue). The host has no other containers on it.
Due to the size of the debug output the workspaces for those jobs use up over 30G of space each. Since they can also run other jobs as they are labelled as ubuntu2404-arm64 the total workspace use by these containers in over 40Gb.
Since the machine exhausted it's disk space I have removed the debug workspace from the -6 container to free up space and kept that agent offline. That leaves -5 still able to run jobs and use some of the space that was shared with -6. It unfortunately means that we are down to one container for those jobs. Fortunately those jobs are relatively quick at about 20 minutes (remarkably quick given the size of the output!) and so the queue should still clear relatively quickly.
Going forward we should consider one of the following options:
- Distributing the debug labels on different physical hosts - perhaps a maximum of one per host (although at present the other two hosts have about 20G free so could not handle the debug builds)
- Increasing the space available to those nodes (Currently all three azure container hosts have ~125GB of storage attached)
