Describe the bug

I'm assuming two cases are failing because the db-status checks are printing messages in ANSI escape codes using chalk.bold() e.g. \033[1m, \033[0m and thus two of the test cases are failing.

Steps to reproduce

1. Clone the repo
2. npm install
3. npm build
4. npm test
