The README says every card's $schema MUST be https://static.modelcontextprotocol.io/schemas/v1/server-card.schema.json. Today (2026-10-20) that URL returns 404:

The registry's schema on the same host (/schemas/2025-12-11/server.schema.json) returns 200.
I see the Graduation plan expects step 3 to serve it from modelcontextprotocol/static. With SEP-2127 Final on the Extensions Track (modelcontextprotocol/modelcontextprotocol#2893), is that still the route, or will the schema be hosted with the extension site in #52? Until then, a developer who follows the $schema link lands on a 404; schema.json in this repo is the one to use.
If useful, I can send a one-line README note pointing to schema.json until the URL is live.
