Suggestion
Support for Microsoft Intune resources in Microsoft Graph (e.g., deviceManagement, managedDevice, deviceConfiguration, deviceCompliancePolicies, etc.)
Value
Microsoft Intune is widely adopted for device and application management in modern cloud-first environments. However, Configuration-as-Code support for Intune via Bicep is currently nonexistent or extremely limited. Adding support for Intune Graph API resources would:
- Enable repeatable, auditable deployment of Intune configurations.
- Reduce reliance on GUI-based ClickOps, which is error-prone and difficult to manage at scale.
- Provide a robust alternative to community scripts and tools, many of which are incomplete or unmaintained.
- Allow enterprise organizations to adopt DevOps and CI/CD practices for endpoint management and policy enforcement.
This would significantly enhance the ability of organizations to manage their Intune environment as code, aligning with best practices for modern IT operations.
