The wsl-comfort README states that the Linux-side bootstrap script is standalone and can be copied onto any Ubuntu host and run independently of install.ps1.
However, when running comfort-shell-bootstrap.sh on a standalone Ubuntu system that is not running under WSL, the script exits with:
