描述
Problem
I regularly use Azure Storage Explorer (ASE) across multiple Windows PCs and test devices. On every new PC or installation, I have to manually recreate each of my Azure Storage Explorer connections. As the number of Azure Storage locations I work with increases, repeatedly recreating the same connection configuration becomes inefficient and increases the possibility of inconsistent connection names or configuration between systems.
Desired Solution
Provide an optional user-level/global Azure Storage Explorer profile that can synchronize saved connections across devices when signing into Storage Explorer with the same account. Ideally, the synchronized profile would retain non-sensitive connection information such as: • Connection display name • Resource/container URL • Resource type • Other connection configuration required to recreate the connection Authentication credentials, tokens, or other sensitive information could continue to be obtained securely on each device rather than synchronized.
Alternatives and Workarounds
Currently, I manually recreate the required Azure Storage Explorer connections on each PC.
