Summary
plugins/evals/skills/plugin-eval/scripts/run-validity.test.sh fails 2 of 39 tests on Windows with any TMPDIR, including the default on C:, and fails the same way on origin/main at 42f26c1dd:
test_a_with_arm_denial_outside_the_plugin_scoring_the_same_is_a_warningtest_a_with_arm_denial_beside_the_plugin_name_prefix_is_a_warning
Both expect VALID with a permission-denials WARN and get INVALID with FAIL.
Likely cause
The fixtures use POSIX paths (/tmp/eval-r2/plugins/evals, a denial at /tmp/claude-eval-x), while run-validity.py normalizes plugin roots with os.path.abspath/os.path.normpath, which on Windows yields drive-and-backslash paths. The inside/above/beside classification then no longer sees the denial as outside the plugin. Either the check should compare paths in one form, or the fixtures should build their paths from the platform's temp directory.
