描述
Crest is a macOS notch app. Claude Code, Codex and Copilot CLI permission prompts and questions show up in the MacBook notch: Allow, Deny, or one of the options the prompt offers, tapped at the notch, with the answer written back into the session. An In-terminal button hands the prompt back to the CLI. On a Mac without a notch it uses a small pill at the top of the screen.
It runs on each CLI's own hook system: a PreToolUse hook in ~/.claude/settings.json with a backup of the file kept, ~/.codex/hooks.json when Codex is installed, and ~/.copilot/hooks/crest.json when Copilot CLI is installed. Read-only tools are never intercepted. When the app is not running the hook returns no decision, so the CLI shows its normal terminal prompt.

Native Swift, macOS 14 or later, signed and notarized by Apple. There is no GitHub repo, so there is no star count for the line. Answering prompts and questions is free and needs no account. Crest Pro (with Take and Minutes) is $24.99 once or $2.99 a month, with 7 days free.
