Page 05-agentic-workflows-intro.md scores overall 5.43 with active_learning 2.4 and checkpoint_quality 0.0. Activity 1 asks learners to open a .lock.yml that may not exist in their repo yet.
Proposed change
Replace the open-a-lock-file activity with an inspect-this-snippet task whose answer is shown in a reveal. Add a short worked example mapping the three key terms onto a real frontmatter + brief. Add a self-check question set with answer reveals at the end (keep existing activities).
Failure mode
Learning barrier — strengthen scaffolding and checkpoints rather than removing concepts.
