描述
It would be very useful if the Copilot app could support SSH connections to remote servers. This would allow users to connect to development environments, manage files, run commands, and work on projects hosted on remote machines directly within the app.
Useful features could include:
- Connecting to servers via SSH host, port, username, and key-based authentication
- Support for SSH config files and multiple saved connections
- Secure storage of SSH credentials and private keys
- Remote terminal access
- Remote file browsing and editing
- Running Copilot coding sessions directly in the remote environment
- Support for jump hosts and SSH agent forwarding
SSH support would make the Copilot app much more practical for developers who work with remote servers, cloud environments, VMs, and self-hosted development machines.
