Start by finding where the app captures Geo information and how existing reports or charts are assembled. Done means a country report has a descending user-count table with session counts and a chart for the top countries plus an Other bucket; flag icons and a micro chart are optional.

A report on how many users are from various countries would be very helpful in knowing your app audience. You already capture Geo information so this shouldn't be too hard.

A table should list rows in descending order by user count with these columns:

  • Country (and show flag icon before country if you have an easy way to do so)
  • User count
  • Session count
  • Possibly a micro chart showing the user/session data, but this is just a bonus feature and can be left out

A chart at the top should display the top 7 or so countries with an Other bucket for the rest. The chart can be bar or pie, whatever works best for you.

In the future if you have some way to track trials vs. full app usage, you could add columns for those after session count too.
