The illustrative example uses the Flocker volume driver, which is a deprecated and defunct project:

Flocker was discontinued and archived in 2016-2017. It is no longer maintained or available.
Why this matters
Readers following this example may:
- Try to use Flocker and find it doesn't exist or work
- Learn outdated practices that don't apply to modern Docker Compose
- Question whether the documentation is current and trustworthy
The example is meant to be illustrative and educational, but using a defunct driver undermines its value.
Suggested fix
Replace the Flocker driver with a current, realistic volume driver option. Options include:
- Use the default
