The report covers the rotator control panel's Track and Engage buttons and the hamlib connection, and it is a regression between gpredict 2.3.115 and 2.4 on Ubuntu 24.04. The payload names no source files, so start by reproducing with a hamlib rotator or dummy backend and comparing the rotator control path between the two releases. Done means Track updates the AZ/EL values to the satellite's position and hamlib receives a connection when Engage is clicked.

描述
On ubuntu (24.04), running gpredict 2.4 the rotator control seems broken. when clicking the track button the AZ/EL values grey out previous but the values do not change to the selected satellite target values (stay at 180/45 degrees) and no output to hamlib. nor does hamlib receive a connection when engage button is clicked.
This works once reverted back to gpredict 2.3.115 - no other changes made.
