Template #165, fixed on main in components-web-app@e3286b4a9f8f2c12faa713c7e595506bfdd66c36 (next template release after 2.0.0-alpha.37).
content/6.deployment/3.ci-cd.md line 119 says review apps are stopped "automatically when the branch is deleted". Until this fix that failed on GitLab: the stop review job checked out the deleted branch and died in get_sources (exit 128), leaving the review app running and its environment stuck in stopping.
Suggested additions there:
- GitLab's stop review no longer checks out its branch (
GIT_STRATEGY: none); it fetchesbin/devopsfrom the default branch, so merging with Delete source branch now stops the review app. The stop runs the default branch'sk8s.shandproject.sh. - Downstream: copy the
stop reviewjob from the template's.gitlab-ci.yml. An environment already stuck in stopping needs the manual cleanup from #165 (helm uninstall, delete the review PVCs, then force-stop the environment). - Mark it with the release badge once the template is tagged.
