描述
Context
Part of the SEO growth initiative (#18): Phase 0: Foundation and measurement.
Search Console is the scoreboard for impressions and clicks and confirms pages are indexed. Nothing else in this plan is measurable without it.
What to do
- Add
tools.codercops.comas a property in Google Search Console. - Verify ownership (DNS TXT, or the meta tag added in the verification-tags task).
- Submit
https://tools.codercops.com/sitemap.xml. - Review the Pages report for "Discovered / Crawled - not indexed".
Where
Google Search Console (external). The meta-tag path pairs with "Add env-driven search-engine verification meta tags".
Acceptance criteria
- Property verified in GSC
- sitemap.xml submitted and shows Success
- Pages report reviewed for indexing gaps
