描述
Out of old habit I choose to declare the host package as "CommonJS", since it use to be the case that the react-native.config.js couldn't be ESM and the React Native community CLI didn't read the .cjs file-extension: https://github.com/react-native-community/cli/issues/2167
This is no longer the case and we should be able to use ESM here as well 👍
