描述
TurboShake and KangarooTwelve are IETF / CFRG variants of SHAKE that take advantage of parallelism (ie hashing in independent chunks) to be able to hash large messages much faster than raw SHAKE.
Note: while TurboShake / KangarooTwelve vastly out-perform SHAKE (FIPS 202), it is only a minor improvement over ParallelHash (SP 800-185), which is being added to bc-rust in #133 . So, this task is probably low-priority, unless we get demand for it for interoperability reasons.
