Right now the only way to tell if the other side of an mpsc or mpmc channel is gone is to send or receive something. oneshot and watch already have is_disconnected, so adding it to the mpsc and mpmc senders and receivers would keep the channels consistent. Would you take a PR for this? Happy to add len and is_empty too if you think they fit
